Am I screwed in on-cycle?

Hey everyone, as you know on-cycle recruiting has kicked off. I had a couple interviews the first day thrown at me(Bain Cap, Sycamore, H&F, another UMM fund), but only went to 2 because I got pretty far in the UMM process, but didn't get an offer in the end. I haven't heard anything else from headhunters about interviews, so is on-cycle basically done? Is there a chance that a good number of firms didn't want to interview on the weekend or is that just wishful thinking?

Second this, considerable amount of funds didn't even participate in on-cycle yet, with many of the ones that did still saving slots for later on. Anecdotal, but many second years from my school/group who did on cycle this year were actually able to get 2020 summer start slots, so there's definitely plenty of time to figure out what you'll be doing summer 2021

Will there generally be spots open for 2021 during off-cycle? I keep hearing that people expected on-cycle earlier this year, and that spots filled up. But there’s no way that can be true, considering last year when off-cycle was crazy..
