Safe to say he is a creep because if I were interviewing you and asked a question 3 times, and you didn't respond, you would not be getting a call back/follow-up from me....
ah ... out of curiosity, how would you have responded to his question? Any suggestions for future similar conversations?
I would suggest you deflect and say something along the lines of "yeah, I would love to set up another call to further discuss your firm when we have some more time." This makes it clear that you are still eager to learn about his shop, but also sets a boundary in that you are just looking for a call (not a meetup).

Definite creep. If he wanted to have a legit coffee chat, etc he would have just said so. He probably wants you to propose something that he knows he shouldn't bring up directly.

I agree with this, but Im not sure what an appropriate response in this instance is? He was definitely offended each time I was silent and didn't respond back with anything.
If he wanted contact info, he'd just ask for it. Asking you to suggest another way to stay in touch can only mean one of so many things.

I know the appropriate response to these sorts of things is boohoo #metoo, but I wish I could get a job in exchange for sexual favors. Not saying I would do it in every case, but the option would be nice.
