AM Sales vs Investment Consulting
I have received entry-level two offers: one from an international investment consulting firm as an investment analyst, another in sales for a small AM firm. If my end goal is an analyst role in AM, which role would put be in better stead?
1) Investment analyst at a large, international investment consultant. CFA paid for. IC --> CFA --> ER --> AM (?)
2) Sales for a growing AM. Sales --> CFA --> AM Analyst at the same firm (?)
