I got the news that I would not be asked to return to the EB I was at this summer. Figured I would try to make some good out of it and help out any prospective interns that may have had questions. Thanks for posting. Looking back on the internship, can you pinpoint the reasons why you weren't a good fit for the job? I am also curious about your background -- major, target/non-target, previous experience etc.
What did you dislike in order to have no intention of returning to IB? Have you thought about trying consulting or seems similar?
what's your next steps - completely out of Finance, startups, or working for corporations that are part of the industry you covered for (if coverage group) during the summer?
