Amazon and Real Estate

We have all seen the headlines regarding Amazon destroying real estate (retail specifically). I may be wrong, but isn't their ex-AWS income ($225)MM-ish? What is the real chance we see anti-trust actions against Amazon? In terms of their retail business, it seems that their entire model is to use AWS income to price profitable business out of business.

I know I know - Amazon isn't going anywhere but at some point shouldn't the retail business actually make money (or even break even?) Bezos just said they had 100MM Prime members too.

In order to be hit by antitrust the government has to prove that Amazon hurts consumers through monopoly. Amazon is simply more competitive so I doubt they will be broken up under the current framework however Trump does seem to have a vendetta against Bezos so Trump could drum up some problems. Amazon isn't currently running negative on their retail sales they're simply reinvesting profits into technological progression. I don't see Amazon's era ending anytime soon, especially with the potential of their AmazonGo platform.

This thread is a bit all over the place, but Amazon isn't killing retail.

Retail in general is evolving from a place where you buy things to a place where you try things before you buy them. Showrooms and experiential retail experiences are becoming the norm. Even Amazon sees the value in this - they bought Whole Foods and have opened Amazon brick and mortar stores - because if you have a physical store your online sales increase.
