Analyst at 25

Hello, Do firms hire people for analyst role at 25?I'm looking to apply for my Masters degree (not MBA) and I don't have workex to start at associate role. I also don't mind starting as an entry level analyst at 25. I'm not looking for a BB Ib role, infact I wanna start my career working at an EB as an analyst.
Looking for some honest advice.

Thanks

Tbh even if you want to start as a analyst at 30 if you are qualified and will work I don’t see why they wouldn’t hire you, would seem like a idiotic move by a company not to hire someone because they are 30 vs 23.

I’m 25 and will start as an A1 at a London EB in a couple of months - no problem at all here.

kind of an L to be an analyst at 25 but if you want it, then go for it

26 year old second year analyst here - nobody or no bank will care at all.

Being an older analyst is way more common then you'd think and happens for multiple reasons:

  1. People often times have to take time off in undergrad due to medical circumstances, personal issues, gap year, etc...
  2. Those who lateral to IB internally often times have to reset to an An1

At 25 years old you will still be in an incredible career position that will open up numerous opportunities for you in the future. If you believe the right path for you is to go back to school don't let this stop you.
