Analystix Tools- free Excel Add-ins for financial analysts

Hi everyone,
I developed a package of Excel Add-Ins, designed especially for financial analysis. Excel offers a lot of flexibility, but it lacks specific functions which can be very helpful for Security Analysis and valuation. The idea to create various tools, which can ease and improve the workflow of financial analysts, stemmed from my daily work. I decided to develop these tools in the form of Excel Add-Ins, and provide them for free. I call it “Analystix Tools”, a free package of 5 Excel Add-ins, created for financial analysts. Here are the highlights and key feature of each of the 5 tools:
Histogram Builder - Histograms help visualize data and ease drawing insights and conclusions. Easily create distribution histograms based on numerical data, such as gross profit margins of companies in a specific industry, or S&P 500 returns over a long period of time.
Data Arranger - Suppose you want to compare the quarterly change in gross margins to the change in price of a commodity used to manufacture the product of the analyzed company. You find the data for the commodity price, but the data is monthly. Here comes the routine and boring process of calculating the average/end of period for each quarterly period using this data… The Data Arranger can take monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annual data and calculate the average/end of period for any other period of your choice. It also includes additional features, such as automatically filling empty data slots through several methods.
Cost of Capital Calculator - Every valuation process includes the calculation of the Cost of Capital. The Cost of Capital Calculator can calculate both the Cost of Equity and the Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC). It includes all the components needed for the calculation: beta, size premium and debt margin calculators. It also includes links to online data sources with various input parameters used in the calculation.
CAGR Calculator - Easily create tables with rate of growth calculations based on several types of calculations: compared to previous or parallel periods, and CAGR between selected periods. The CAGR Calculator exports the formulas so the results are updated upon any changes in the data.
Black & Scholes Calculator - It is always handy to have a B&S option value calculator available within reach (a click of a button in the Excel toolbar). Our calculator also comes with the ability to easily calculate the volatility input which is required by the B&S formula.

I've built these tools for ease of use but recommend you view the series of YouTube video tutorials and Step-by- Step guides with screenshots, both of which are available on my website.
Finally, I would love to expand the Analystix Tools package, so if you have more ideas for tools, or functions that you wish Excel would have, please don't hesitate to contact me.
