Analysts & Associates Viewing My LinkedIn Profile
It's twice now that analysts/associates at banks that I've applied to have viewed my LinkedIn Profile but I haven't gotten an email for an interview. Are they signalling me to reach out to them? It doesn't make sense that they would view my profile and I don't get any interviews. Any insights? I'm confused
Edit** I'm a non-target at a Canadian University applying to US BBs in NY, SF, London and Paris.
Doesn’t hurt to reach out and tell them you applied and want to learn more about the team’s culture, etc.
Given that they viewed my profile, would you email them? Or message them on LinkedIn?
LinkedIn. But don’t be like: “Hey you viewed my profile, let’s connect”
Not a signal.
So what do you suggest is the reasoning behind it? I figure they must have some level of interest after reading through my application to click on my LinkedIn profile.
"People you may know" or "people also viewed" sidebar. Or they looked you up and still decided not to interview you.
Yeah I think you’re reading way too much into it. It’s either they saw you on recommended connections through mutual network or they look at your resume and profile and decided not to move forward. If they wanna interview you, you probably would’ve gotten an invite already.
I tried networking with some alum at a BB, they viewed my profile and didn't respond to my emails. Still got the offer in their division. I'd assume no correlation.
