"And Then the Roof Caved In" by David Faber

For those who have heard of the Brain's new book and have thought about buying it, I thought I'd throw in my two cents.

Overall, I'd give the book a B+. It is a blistering read, Faber a good writer. However, its clearly aimed at a lower target audience than I would have thought. Probably not worth $30 - get it at the library, you'll finish it in four days or less.

On the other hand, I would recommend the book to some of the younger guys out there, be it HS or early in college. A solid introduction to the situation. With that said, I would highly recommend "The Two Trillion Dollar Meltdown" - a much more in-depth book, and in paperback.

I havent yet seen the CNBC special, but am looking forward to comparing them.

Thought it was hilarious when Burnett kept calling the work "House Of Cards" (I suppose the name of the aforementioned special) - a great book, only about Bear. Faber was pissed.

Not really related to this post, but whatev. I'm interested in reading a few good books this summer but given the limited free time, I'd like some opinions on your favorite 3-5 books ranked in order. I've already read Monkey Business. Other ones I'm considering: Barbarians at the Gate, Liar's Poker, House of Cards. Thx in advance.
