Any banks with first year salaries under $100k?
Im curious to know what banks have not responded to the latest salary increases so please share if you can. Most intern offers should have gone out in the last week which has been the catalyst for many firms to increase.
UPDATE: There’s a new up to date benchmarking thread so this is likely redundant
Unofficial running list based on benchmarking thread and comments below:
BMO (95k) - Report it has been raised to $100k
TD Securities (95k)
Truist ($87.5k)
Oppenheimer (95k)
CS (still $90k?)- Apparently moving to $100k next week
BoA ($95k)
PJT ($90k)
RBC ($95k)
.
.
Interesting. Updated.
Bmo is 100. Source: my paycheck
i stand corrected
CS is 100 (summer return offer letters from last week), official bump coming to full-timers this/next week
CS is confirmed already at 100.
Still GBP 50k in the UK. Sadge.
What does HSBC look like?
At 100
105 actually
95 for AN1
nah 100 for analyst 1
PJT still paying 90 lmao
Updated. Sorry PJT-ers
It’s 110 now
Any news on KeyBanc?
Wells Fargo is paying 100k??? Lol
Yes as of Monday and in return offer letters
Man you guys focus on some petty stuff. Who cares if you very first base is 95k or 110k? After tax is such a minuscule difference. The real money is made later in your career. Focus more on learning at this point.
15k difference for a fresh grad is significant. Yes the "real" (bigger) money will be made later on, but for fresh grads they could invest that extra money or use it to buy themselves something nice
Thanks for taking the time out of your day to provide this feedback. Really insightful.
If even one young kid realizes how stupid it is to waste time comparing a few k here and there and focuses his time on learning the ropes, modeling, etc, the comment is worth it.
I wish a senior has told me to stop fretting about the delta between top and middle bucket as a junior and the base at my bank vs another, and to just focus my energy on learning.

I think there’s some miscommunication. His point is that we shouldn’t lose sleep over ten thousand up or down. Our point is that being paid less than equally qualified people for the same job makes us feel like women. I mean… makes us feel undervalued.
Anyone know if FT Partners has raised base or not? What do their bonuses look like?
A coin with the CEO’s face on it isn’t good enough for you?
LOL had to look that up on WSO to figure out what you were even referring to. That's some funny ass shit.
Yeah base is 100 confirmed by offer letters to interns this week
.
100
BoA has to raise again to 100K right? They're the lowest paying BB that's not sustainable
Hope so
Update: they upped today to $100K
Any info on random boutique ib shops bumping pay or it being discussed?
Hoping so - we’re still at 75k. Feels bad :(
As an AS1? Or AN1 level base
Damn. Always interesting to see data points on the random boutiques. I just learned from a buddy of mine that the boutique he left paid analysts 55k a year in Texas...
RBC at 95
Wonder if it’ll hold
Anything on Lazard middle market?
Cowen?
CS 100 yet?
Yes, confirmed from FT offer letters
