Any experienced FP&A / CF folks willing to chat with me on your experience? Looking for advice on how to approach common tasks / questions within this field.

Trying to break into a more pure corporate FP&A role, so would appreciate if someone would be willing to quickly chat with me (Skype, DM, etc.) on some best practices for common FP&A requests. Questions would be more philosophical, for example:

1.) What's your thought process when you get asked for X project (e.g., cost-benefit analysis or any real-life example you can think of), which stakeholders do you involve, etc.

2.) What do you do when you're looped into a cross-functional project? Which stakeholders do you talk do, how do you prioritize your next moves, what do you to assess how you can be a value-add, etc.

3.) How do you determine how to make a process more efficient for your or other teams? What's your thought process, who do you involve, what conversations do you have, etc.

4.) How do you assess whether to approve a new request (e.g., headcount or incremental cost budget for like marketing or G&A)?

Would really appreciate some insights please so please let me know if you're willing to help a more junior person.

Too add to this what  is some good industry jargon to incorporate.
