Any IS / Brokerage Analysts or Associates Willing to Share Their Stories?

Hi WSO, wanted to see if anyone that has worked in IS / brokerage could share their stories on what they did after their brokerage gig. I'm personally a 3rd year IS analyst in a T1 market looking into potential opportunities on the buy side and was wondering what others have done in their career paths.

I've seen plenty of posts from students/analysts asking what their exit opps are for IS but I'm curious to hear about your personal career story and why you left the brokerage gig whether you were an analyst/associate/vp/md. As an analyst, I feel that I've reached my limit and have not learned anything besides how to put OMs and packages together more efficiently. Underwriting for multifamily is not too difficult either since most clients don't ask for 5-10 year cash flows or very technical analyses. Curious to hear where other IS / brokerage folks have ended up!
