Look at and build excel models from scratch, make sure you're using all the shortcuts and don't use your mouse. It'll save you time and will make you look more competent to analysts. For powerpoint, build decks from scratch, learn all the shortcuts (align, make logos transparent, make charts and graphs, etc.) Excel and PPT is all about reps and just being familiar with it. The more you do the better you get at it.

 

Great advice. Working through the BIWS interview guide course and realizing I'm uncomfortable with the excel modeling shortcuts. Any specific course you recommend to brush up on this?

I'm an incoming student this upcoming fall at a T20-25.
