Any thoughts on Kaiser Associates?

Got a first round with Kaiser Associates, and I haven't been able to find much about the firm through the search feature on this site. Would love any info in terms of reputation, b-school placement and exit opps.

Am I right to put Kaiser in the same category as say Marakon / Mars & Co?

All thoughts welcome.

Used to work there. Most of the work is market research-style engagements (eg benchmarking, market sizing, customer interviews) for a few F500 firms - interesting but can get repetitive and you have do some things like sourcing expert interviewees yourself (that other places have outsourced). Culture is generally pretty good (esp at junior level) and lighter hours than other consulting firms on average but depends on the practice / team. Lack of brand name means that exit opps are a little limited (a decent amount of going to other consulting firms) but MBA placement generally decent (non-HWS M7) - check LinkedIn. Comp below market but you can get fast promotions if you are a high performer. I also know they had layoffs earlier this year that were apparently poorly executed.
