Anyone have insight into what real estate divisions do in big retail corporations?
I was reached out to by a recruiters for a big box clothing retailer (think Macy's, TJX) about a senior analyst position that combines development and data analytics. I am coming from REPE, but I was curious if anyone had any insight into these types of roles, what I would expect in comp, and whether you get any real development experience or if it's more so a corporate cog and the interesting real estate duties are shipped out to 3rd parties?
