Anyone have XP in Healthcare M&A?
Curious to hear others' experience in Healthcare M&A - particularly if you have experience workin in a hospital network, operator, physician practice rollup PE firm, etc.
I'm a 1st Year Associate at a large hospital network. Not coming from a healthcare background it's been interesting but also challenging to come to terms with industry metrics and drivers for M&A targets - wRVUs, NPSR, Reimbursement rates, payor mixes, etc.
Also curious how others' teams were/are structured - whether they're deal facilitators i.e. valuation, business dev plans, or if you also did idea origination.
