Applying to jobs through recruiting companies
Hi guys,
I'm applying for Developer jobs in HFs and I'm currently using a recruiting agency (this is in London). I've been told by them that, if I get contacted by other recruiters, I should tell them since it will be a problem if I apply to the same firm through two recruiters. I'm not sure whether they are just saying this because they want to increase their chances of recruiting me, or whether this really is a problem. Is this a real thing?
Thanks
Problem because who gets the commission?
Problem for you also because you're not "scarce." Every hiring manager is looking for that rare gem, not a commodity.
