Are analysts usually on Bloomberg?
I searched up some analysts (alumni) but their names don't show up on the Bloomberg terminal at my school. Are analysts usually in the database? or is it just the higher-ups?

Career Resources
From what I understand, most IB analysts don't have individual bloomberg terminals. Depending on the bank they may share bloomberg resources with other analysts or even groups.
Traders are more likely to be on bloomberg since most of the time, they are given their own bloomberg terminal.
Makes sense since each terminal costs like 20k+ a year.
Its rare for a sell-side analyst to have a bloomberg unless their in a job function closer to the S&T side. The exception would be an analyst in a capital markets focused role that requires bloomberg, like fixed income. I've never heard of an analyst in a coverage group having one.
