Are sophomores screwed?
With banks reducing their headcount due to COVID-19 and all, are sophomores (c/o 23) screwed for recruiting? Or do you think that things will go back to normal by then? They recruit next summer but will intern the summer after.
With already so few intern spots for IB, I feel like a decrease in headcount will make it only very slightly more difficult to get an internship. Just my opinion, no idea if what I'm saying is accurate.
no you are not. covid will pass and even if it doesnt, a new norm will have been formed. once stability is restored, deal flow will get back to normal, if not even stronger. absolutely no need to worry about that for class of 2023.
also, literally every single year, ppl who apply to college / b-school / jobs say it's the hardest year ever bc some type of shit goes down every single year. pls just do away with the mindset cuz its just simply not helpful.
Got it. What about for class of 22?
