Argus Before Fully Experienced in Financial Modeling?

So I want to get my Argus Certificate as I heard it's a good resume booster and you will be using the program a lot in like a Capital Markets role. However, I'm not fully experienced in Real Estate Financial Modeling yet. Like I know the basics but nowhere close to mastering it. Can I still learn Argus while still being a novice at financial modeling? What prior knowledge do I need before getting the bundle? The Argus bundle comes with 6 eLearning courses, the manual, video library, and the prep exam. Would that be sufficent enough to pass the certification exam?
Any suggestions?

You can learn both at the same time. They are complimentary.

Of course, learning Argus would be easier if you already knew how to model a deal, but it's not like underwriting real estate is rocket science.

While you're learning to divide the NOI by the cap rate in Argus, just make sure you take note of why you're doing this.

Definitely don’t need too much modeling knowledge to complete ARGUS certification. Should have a basic understanding of CRE terms though.

The training just teaches you where to enter different inputs in the AE system.

You may learn a little about modeling through completing the cert.
