Army veteran, passed CPA, CFA level2, seeking advice to break into investment industry.
Greetings to all.
I wish to break into the finance industry. And I am genuinely seeking some guidance for my job search.
I got out of the army recently. While I was looking for opportunities in the finance industry, I found it extremely difficult to find even an entry level investment analyst position.
I was hoping to leverage my credentials and education background to get an entry level position. I am a self starter with a master degree of accounting, passed CPA and CFA level 2. I had a year public accounting experience prior to my military career.
What kind of path should I take? I wish I could take an internship but I am not a student. I wish to have a entry level investment position but I don't have the required experience.
Thanks for your time reading the message. Greatly appreciate your advices.
