As a Sophomore studying in Hong Kong (HKUST) how can I prepare myself best to secure an S&T internship at a BB?

Hey guys, I'm a Sophomore studying finance in Hong Kong. I have previously worked at a boutique financial consultancy, mostly on Macro-economic research, and attended 2 spring insight programs at BBs here in Hong Kong, specifically focused on IBD and S&T.

I wanted to ask, how I can best prepare myself to secure an S&T internship next year? I am more interested in Equity Sales, atleast thats what I think from speaking to industry professionals at the spring programs. I am trying to score an internship for this summer, at a boutique or a BB but a different division (Very limited options for this choice), but its hard as a Sophomore, especially in Asia.

I am very interested in markets and try to keep up. I also listen to some podcasts (Peter Schiff) to get different perspectives, and ofcourse i've read Liar's poker and The Big Short (lol), but what else could I do? Any awesome guides out there?

Background on me: I'm at international student out here, so I don't speak Chinese but I have really good communication skills, and so I was considering Sales.

Thanks guys.
