This information is about 1 year stale at this point in time. I received a job offer from one of the groups you listed for an acquisitions associate position. The position was in a reasonable CoL market (Nashville/Denver/Dallas). Base was $105k with a 25% discretionary bonus. The benefits were great (health/vision/dental insurance, 401k matching, generous PTO). It wasn't the highest paying job out there, but quality of life would've been great.
How many years of experience did you have when you received this offer?
Good question.
5 years of experience
That's a great pay for the relative market COL. However, as others stated, we need to know how many years of experience prior.
Thank you for responses all.
These numbers are on an old thread. Just search and you'll find it.
Bumping for newer total comp specifically if there are post-MBA associates. Metlife, PGIM, Invesco on the investment side.
Checked google comp document but no specifics on there.
I appreciate the insight in advance.
LifeCos: Not REPE
(But oddly enough, use private capital as equity investments)
Maybe true for some lifeCo’s but PGIM is still REPE. They raise close end funds and invest in RE equity. Plz fix thx
Excuse me. Which one of our user names enables us to make these type of determinations?
You're funny for a little while. Now you're just like an annoying petulant teenager. Stop trolling and go get a job.
What type of job would you recommend?
Would it be...REPE?
I chuckled
175k-250k in major market. From what I remember conversations being.
Well damn
Thank you, I appreciate the response.
you are welcome. just don't take this as a range. It is from memory, and the better and more conservative all in number is around 200k
In a secondary market you'll be starting at around $150k all in. Life Co RE investment groups have some of the best job security in the business though. Zero layoffs during the GFC at both cos i've worked for. They're also great with annual pay raises but the promotions can be slower. (low turnover)
