Associate/AVP – Closed-End Funds; Credit Risk and Derivative Products – New York

Top boutique firm, with significant trading, asset management, and lending platforms, seeks a mid-career professional with 5-7+ years of banking experience, ideally focused on due diligence or credit analysis in the closed-end fund space (mainly hedge and private equity funds). Individuals will spend their time: performing due diligence on closed-end funds; reviewing and negotiating ISDA and credit documentation ; valuing and determining the creditworthiness of closed-end funds; and recommending exposure levels and trading/lending limitations. Additionally, the selected individual will manage 2 analysts on the team, and mentor their work.  Persuasive written and oral communication skills, confidence when being challenged as you liaise with the traders/marketers, a commitment to immediate response to trading requests, and being a collegial team member will be critical components of your success in this role. Please send resumes (cover letter not required) to [email protected], and thanks for viewing my posting.
