A.T. Kearney interview & what's the best interview prep material?
I will have an interview with A.T. Kearney (Europe) and would like to know whether there are typical interview Qs they like to ask or anything special about them that is worth to know.
I would also like know whether the Vault Guide to Case Interviews is worth the $30. Is there any other good material your can recommend other than what the firms have on-line?
Thanx for the info!

They asked me how many bricks you'd need to build an igloo.
You really need to read Graduate-Consulting's page on the A.T. Kearney interview process.

Essentially; there are two first round interviews, a case and a fit. Then an AC with another case, group exercise and written exercise. After that a final partner interview.

I know you posted along time ago, but I hope this helps anyone looking at A.T. Kearney career information now!
A.T Kearney Phone Interview (Originally Posted: 01/09/2015)
Hi!! I have an interview with ATK in the coming week, it is a 30 mins phone interview with HR. I was wondering if anyone has gone through similar interviews and what kind of questions I should expect for experienced hire?
Thanks!
All my HR 30 minute interviews were the same.
Why this position? Why this company? Talk about your skills Salary expectations (Whoever mentions a number first loses remember that)
Remember, the HR doesn't know how to do the job, they just have a list of qualificaitons. At worst, you'll be asked some behavior/personality questions.
Thank you so much! This is very helpful!
@"Withoutapaddle" what do you mean by whoever mentions a number first loses?
@"HermanCainSmash" Part of HR's job is to get labor as cheap as possible. If you say you're willing to work for 50K the HR may offer you 52K. However if you hadn't said how much you expected to be paid the position could have paid you 60K.
I've always went with "I'm negotiable based off market rate for the position"
@"Withoutapaddle" thanks for the clarification. That might come in handy while i interview.
