B school Background check

hi all.

So I have been accepted to a b-school and they hired Re Vera to conduct background check.

Thou there is no obvious lie or false info, I have a minor concern...

Besides my full job, I had a concurrent part-time freelance consulting job working for a relatively small firm.

So in employment section in my b-school app, I listed the firm as one of my employers and listed all other necessary information (part-time basis, contract consulting, etc.) and I recently got my 1099 form NOT W2 from them.

As I directly reported to the VP on weekly-monthly basis and I am not their real official employee but a part-time consultant by contract, Re Vera would probably not be able to verify my employment by contacting their HR or through their HR system. They probably has to contact VP directly or I send my 1099 form.

So I wonder how I can address this issue.

Thanks in advance,

blahblah2:

Thanks. Hope they can verify everything without a need to contact me...

My job position changed after submitting my application (still in the same company) so there was a discrepancy between what I've said and what HR reported. They reached out to me for clarification and I just had to send them a screenshot of my job history in the company.
