Background Check in PE Interview Process
Recently secured a 2021 associate offer from a pe firm. Does anyone know when you undergo the background check? Don't have anything to be worried about, but want to know I'm set rather than finding out I failed when I'm trying to leave in 1.5 years.
If they have their ish together, it's generally right before or right after the offer letter. If they don't, they may do it when you join or never do it.
They can do it anytime anywhere! stay off the drugs dude
Similar situation, was told it'll happen within 90 days of the start date (i.e. a year and a half from now)
