Job Description
The Analyst position will report to Senior Vice President, North America Private Equity (NAPE). Major responsibilities for this particular position include:

Monitor press to ensure Bain Capital is aware of what is going on in the investment market/keep abreast of all deal activity.
Support proactive marketing efforts: Screen potential companies NAPE should consider for investments: develop overviews on targeted companies.
Update marketing compendium materials for private equity pitches and conduct necessary analysis to keep materials current.
Conduct quarterly analysis on private equity investment banking activity as well as private equity company portfolio activity.
Support credit committee process. Work with SVP to ensure timely credit committees, manage scheduling and collect and consolidate feedback to report back to deal teams.
Centralize key data within NAPE to help drive efficiencies.
Provide support to current staffing initiatives as required.
Provide analytical support for other private equity-related project initiatives.
