Bain Capital Ops Role vs. Going back to school for MsF
Hi all. I was recently presented with the opportunity to interview for a Portfolio Ops Associate role in Bain Capital's credit group. Prior to this, I was dead-set on returning to school for an MsF because I'm from a non-target and all of my work experience is in ops roles. Does anyone here have experience making lateral moves within PE firms out of Ops roles? Or better yet, does anyone have stories of making lateral moves out of ops roles in general? How did you do it?
