Bain to Bain Capital Timeline

I know a lot of people will work at bain & co after undergrad and then make the jump to bain capital (if they are interested in PE) after their work at bain. Do you guys know what the timeline for this is?

I "hear" all the time that people at solid ibanks will start getting interviews for top PE funds about a year after they have started working (circa July) and offers are extended to begin upon completion of your ibanking 2 year program.

Is it the same with bain to bain cap? Or, do you have to complete 2 years before you can interview, with an offer to commence after you finish your third year at bain?

And, generally, when does recruiting for the all the top PE funds begin? (i.e. is it july, august, september of the year before or what?)
