Bank of America/ML Global Investment Solutions

Hey guys,

Can anyone shed some light on BoA/ML's Global Investment Solutions group? I have a general offer and was told that we would be having a conversation in the spring if I choose to sign to discuss placement. From my understanding, GIS is Wealth Management's own capital markets group. Although they don't run a P&L, they do have S&T functions, research, and due diligence. I am not sure how accurate this information is, even though it does come from the bank itself. I am interested in getting into a S&T type role within GIS and was hoping someone could shed some light on how feasible that is and provide some background on what the group does.
