banker vs consulting resumeses

Hey guys,

I've always wanted to banking but am going to apply to some consulting firms through a partner recc

I need to edit my resume, get rid of the listed deals, and make the work seem more consultant related. What kind of work are consultants looking for in comparison to banking?

I'm thinking consultants want to see:
PE portfolio management
Market DD
competitive analysis
industry research
what kind of modeling should I include?

Bankers wantt to see:
M&A, LBO, IPO, restrux
valuation
investment DD, capital markets analysis
work relating to cap structure

TylerT:
Depends on what type of consulting. Have a firm and area in mind?

Competitive Strategy, Financial Effectiveness / Strategy, M&A Support, Human Capital / Organizational Design, Operations (LEAN), Supply Chain / Procurement, Valuations, Technology Strategy, Technology Implementation, Market Evaluation, Capital Projects Management?
