Banking in Frankfurt

I've recently heard that all the major banks have been beefing up their Frankfurt operations due to Brexit, primarily in Banking and S&T. I've also heard because there isn't enough talent to fill the spots in Frankfurt (London bankers/traders are not willing to relocate and there just isn't enough talent in Frankfurt), they are having to fill their ranks internally from the Back Office. In addition, they are telling me that Germany companies all conduct business in English, so German proficiency is not needed either.

This seems like a great opportunity for someone in Ops from London or NY to potentially work as a banker or trader in Frankfurt, then transfer back to their home office in the front office. Can anyone confirm this?
