Barclays & Lazazrd Chicago? Thoughts on Deal flow, comps, exit?
Title says it -- would love to know how these companies prep its analysts for PE recruiting! I'd love to hear everyone's take on this.

Career Resources
Dont know much about Lazard m&a exits but Barclays class last year had one exit to area credit in Chicago, and a few more to pe roles in lmm/mm in and out of Chicago. Year prior had better exits including 1 to gtcr
Does anyone know roughly how large respective analyst classes are at each place? And if most of the analysts who leave go to Chicago places, or leave for NYC?
Most analysts don’t go to nyc. The ones who wanna stay in Chicago stay. Have seen a few go to nyc from Chicago banks and a few more go to sf. Then the remaining few scattered around the country (texas, Miami, Boston, la). As for class sizes I think for Barclays, I don’t remember too well it was like ~ 6 analysts, give or take 1/2
And one to KKR NY
Views on Lazard MM in Chicago?
And anyone have updated info on some of the other boutique names in Chicago, like Moelis, Greenhill, Guggenheim, PWP?
Moelis is a lot chiller than the other offices (Moelis ny and la), Greenhill places very well
