Barclays Offer Letter Times are Ridiculous

Barclays taking a month and counting from verbal offer to offer letter for not one, not two, but all SAs with return offers. Are they trying to make sure people interview/accept offers elsewhere? Surely no other bank’s HR is this inefficient?

Funniest

Semi-related, but Barclays HR somehow scheduled a SA 2022 superday with a completely different office than the one I had my first and second rounds with.

FWIW - I’ve had two lateral verbal offers at a mid-tier and a lower tier BB for over a week now

Title, comp and start date were decided days ago but neither has produced a formal written offer yet

Barclays HR is ass, analyst comp is ass, I should've went to a boutique smh

If you're ever in a competition for world's most dog/cat/bull/horse/walrus-shit HR and you see that your opponent is Barclays HR, do yourself a favor and excuse yourself and never compete ever again. These people have such horrific communication, it almost feels like they go out of their way to be inefficient.
