Baruch college - MS Finance & Big 4 recruiting

I've seen enough cynicism on the program and the school as a whole to lose faith. However, being an international student I don't have many options. I haven't had the time to prepare for the GMAT yet but I'm hoping to get it done in a few months. I'm just setting a plan B, because of some stupid conscription laws I have to maneuver.

My plan is as follows: get into the program; land a Big 4 Audit role (TAS don't offer international student sponsorship, to my knowledge) and remain there for, say, two years; get the CPA and CFA done (I'm done with CFA level 1); and then move into Equity Research. From there I could probably do an MBA after a few years.

How reasonable do you think this plan is? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

It’s refreshing to see someone on this site have reasonable and actually achievable career plans.

Can't tell if you're joking...but I hope not lol

As I said, this is basically a worst case scenario. I've checked LinkedIn and seen many who have done the same, so it's not fully contrived 💀
