Baruch's MS Finance to corporate finance?

will The Master in Finance at Baruch College help me secure a job at corporate finance (with heavy networking)? Baruch College doesn't have the best name recognition, but I'm only looking for something temporary to transition for a better position in the future, given that I also have a poor academic record:

GPA (studying information systems): 2.96/4, GMAT: 680

1 internship: corporate Banking. Taking CFA L1 in December.

my plan is as follows: take the MS in Finance and hopefully land a job in corporate finance (eg financial analyst), take L2&3 of CFA, refine my GMAT score and apply for a top MBA, and then hope to break into AM. With that said, can I land a financial analyst position with Baruch MS Finance?? thank you in advance
