BB Associate Salary Increases
I have been lurking for a while and I’ve been reading that a lot of BB are increasing their new hires salaries. Will this affect the 1st full year salaries and so on? Or bonuses? Essentially what will the new A0, A1, A2 and A3 salary bonus look like now with these changes for BB banks?
Thanks in advance everyone
Interested as well. I have heard nearly all have increased A0 to $150k and can confirm GS, JPM, CS, and WF. I wonder if A1 will now be $175k?
I’ve seen some people saying they think it’s 150/150/175/200 and others saying they think 150/175/200/225 so I’m just wondering if anyone knows for sure.
I think it is 150/150/175/200. not sure about other banks
For BB in general or for those 4 banks the original comment mentioned?
Semi - related question: I’ve met two analysts on separate occasions claiming to make $120k base. One at RBC, one at Jefferies.
That sounds pretty far off even compared to the associate base bump. Does that happen anywhere? 120k base for an analyst?
Probably meant $120k all-in. No place pays $120k base to their IB analysts, and definitely not RBC. Pretty sure not even the buyside analyst programs pay $120k base.
Macquarie pays $110k base to their 3rd year analysts, but don't think this translates to higher all in pay. They also promote very few 2nd year analysts directly to associate.
Thanks to both of you guys. Funny how people feel the need to blatantly lie about their salary
