BB Credit Risk Analyst vs Second Tier Coverage Role

Hi guys, I have recently received two Full Time offers (both in Asia), one is credit risk analyst role from a BB (think of GS/MS/JPM), and another one is an industry coverage role from a second tier bank (think of HSBC/UBS/BNP/ Deutsche Bank/ Soc Gen).

As far as I know, the credit risk analyst will assist the IBD, but it still sits within the risk division. For the coverage role, it focuses on natural resources/mining sectors, and analysts will start off with doing credit analysis (so I feel like its similar to corporate banking).

My ultimate aim is to get in IBD, and therefore I would like to seek some advice on which path I should take. I am not planning to take a master/MBA in the near future.

Thank you very much!
