Becoming a Great Banker

Hi all,

Currently an analyst for a middle market bank. I was thinking of how I can contribute to the growth of the company and now want to know from some experienced bankers, preferably with 3-5+ years of experience, what I should be focused on learning and understanding about the industry and operations in order to see some exponential career growth. How are you as a banker adding value to your company and what have you learned over the years that has been essential to your career progression. Thinking back from your first day as an analyst to where you are now, what significant insights have you gained, how have you changed as a person and how are you approaching things differently.

Appreciate any feedback from anyone, but mainly looking for some words from experienced individuals. Very interested in what you have to say.
