You can find this with a simple search. This list is by no means limited to "accounting," fully-exhaustive or in any particular order. With that being said, here are my personal favorites:

Top 10 Best Books for ER 1. Aswath Damodaran - NYU Corporate Finance Class 2. Aswath Damodaran - Damodaran on Valuation: Security Analysis for Investment and Corporate Finance 3. Benjamin Graham (& Jason Zweig) - The Intelligent Investor 4. Benjamin Graham - Security Analysis 5. Benjamin Graham - Interpretation of Financial Statements 6. McKinsey & Company Inc. - Valuation: Measuring and Managing the Value of Companies 7. Warren Buffett - Letters to Shareholders 8. Joshua Rosenbaum & Joshua Pearl - Investment Banking: Valuation, Leveraged Buyouts, and Mergers and Acquisitions 9. Seth Klarman - Margin of Safety 10. J. Valuation and accounting go hand in hand, so you can't really separate them into mutually exclusive buckets. For example, McKinsey's "Valuation" is one of the best accounting books out there in my opinion. However, if you're looking for just straight accounting knowledge, I recommend the CFA Financial Statement Analysis books (level I for foundational knowledge and level II for more advanced concepts).

Hey guys,

The title says it all: can you pls recommend accounting books or courses that are useful for equity investors, essentially what to look at when a potential stock investment is screened.

Thank you

CeilingAvenue gave you exactly what you asked for - he couldn't have recommended any better books. If you're looking for something more accounting-based, go read an accounting textbook. All the books he listed will go in depth into analysis of a company's financial statements.
