Best Credit Card for IB Analyst

Hey Guys, I am starting out as an FT analyst at an EB this summer and I was wondering what card would be best to get. Is Amex the go to card of investment bankers? It seems like a lot of bankers have an Amex of some sort. I currently have the Chase Sapphire. Thanks!

Chase Sapphire Reserve - $450 annual fee but effectively nets out to $150 since you get credit back $300 for travel expenses, which you'll easily do in NYC (uber, taxi, MTA, etc.). You earn 3x points for travel and dining. The UR points are quite valuable in that they easily transfer to United and other partners at a 1:1 ratio. I personally used points to book flights and hotels for vaca.

Not true. The travel credit is once every 12 months - still an amazing card though. The 100K sign-up bonus points is worth like 3 ish round trips to europe (depending on airports obviously).

Nope - you can double-dip $300 credit during first year of card ownership.

See T&C: "300 Annual Travel Credit: A statement credit will automatically be applied to your account when your card is used for purchases in the travel category, up to $300 in statement credits annually ("annually" means the year beginning with your account open date through the first December statement date of that same year, and each 12 billing cycles starting after your December statement date through the following December statement date)."
