Colliers comes to mind since they are a Canadian company. I'd assume they have some heavy hitters up there.

Honestly? RBC's REIB team.
REIB in Canada is pretty much a brokerage with the occasional equity/debt raise for a REIT.

I hear a lot of realtors talk about the importance of a good investment sales team in Toronto, and in fact in any city. However, in my experience I have not really seen any teams that stand out. This is not the case when it comes to top tier firms in Toronto such as CBRE, Avison Young, Colliers, etc. All three of these firms seem to have an outstanding team when it comes to investment specialists and associate brokers.
Man you can't actually believe Avison Young and Colliers are anywhere near the level of CBRE and RBC in Toronto? Without even touching the quality of deals, their underwriting is a disaster. Colliers is solid most of the time, but still there's a noticeable difference.
