Best junior internships to pivot to FT consulting?

Hey! So unfortunately I got nothing for consulting this recruiting cycle (ivy, 3.7, ok ecs). I'm wondering best internships to go for now to pivot to consulting FT? I'm pretty sure IB internships are out of the picture now too - so I'm thinking about startups (either product management or business/strategy roles,) public policy/research think tanks, nonprofits, etc?

Unfortunately don't have a tech background so may have some trouble looking for product management roles at bigger tech companies.

Big brand (F100 if possible Corp Fin) would be great. Could include most roles, preferably strategy but any business analyst type role would work. If not big brand, a very hands on, impactful, meaningful role at a lesser known firm.

The reason big brand is so important is it acts as a proxy. It says you were recruited by in a competitive environment by a big fish co. It says you gained corp experience at a big fish co, learned to play nice with the other team mates, got exposed to big co culture, etc. So maybe it wasn't MBB but if Pepsi or P&G or F100x hired you, that says something. The role almost doesn't matter. A lot of these shops will have thousands of applicant for a couple hundred interns. That's impressive in and of itself.

Lesser known firm with real impact can also work. Your resume has to be really built to tell that story. How you helped move the needle in X, worked closely with senior leaders on mission critical stuff, etc.
