Tons of mech keyboards that are good. Switches matter more IMO. Green switches are loud and satisfying, but orange etc can be better if you're going for a quieter vibe.

For the mouse highly recommend a vertical mouse. Can get a cheap one by Anker on Amazon for under $25. Gives a lot of relief to when you're not on the keyboard.

I have been using my Logitech K120 $20 keyboard since I was a first year analyst, and still using it when I was a 3rd year associate =)

I did invest in a more expensive Logitech MX Master mouse though. Great for scrolling through long filings.

I would reccomend a HHKB. I've tried nearly every mechanical keyboard switch, and topre is by far my favorite. They're quiet and have a perfect feeling for typing. Most importantly, it doesn't look like these other ridiculous RGB gaming keyboards that people are posting. Also very small and portable if you're into that, at the expense of some extra keys.
