Bloomberg is one of the most memory hugging applications out there. I'd get the most powerful laptop that you can. There are not many laptops on the market that actually meet the minimum specs. Bloomberg's programmers just keep getting less efficient and requiring 16GB of RAM as a minimum to run it (see below guide). I'd go Lenovo or for one of the Microsoft Surface laptops but really push the upper limit of what you can spend.
