Best MBAs for West Coast Real Estate Private Equity Recruitment

I've recently become more interested in a CRE MBA and I'm looking to get more information about which MBAs are best for west coast mega funds (Oaktree, Ares, etc.) as well as what positions these mega funds recruit for during the MBA internship (Investments / Acquisitions Associate? AVP? VP?)

So far, I've heard UCLA's Anderson MBA is a top school in the west, but I'm curious what others would be great as well for the west. For example, will going to Wharton afford me just as much (if not more) opportunities in the west coast than UCLA's Anderson?

as you might now, PE recruiting is all about networking and talking to the right people. For funds based in LA, being at school there will be a big advantage, so Anderson and USC (to a lesser extent) could work, as have a good alumni network there (Anderson being very strong in Real Estate investing). Other good options will be Haas and Stanford, or strong finance schools that have extensive networks and prestige (think Wharton, Booth). Anyway, I would go to the beat school you get in and then do extensive networking. Being at an MBA business schools">M7 will open more doors and with the right strategy you can get interviews in any geography
