Best Mechanical Keyboard
Currently looking for a mechanical keyboard for my SA stint next summer. What would you all recommend? Or are mechanical keyboards just too loud for the office?
Currently looking at Das Keyboard 4 Professional Cherry MX Brown.
Yeah, definitely don’t bring your own keyboard as a SA
Would disagree.. bring whatever helps you work best - logitech has a couple of great ones like the k840 (anything works so long as it doesn't have flashy lights or what not)
This advice is so bad I almost hit the flag button.
Any hardo move that suggests you care way too much about improving your performance by 0.1% will never make you look good as an intern.
Lmao don't bring your own keyboard. If you do, bring some red switches, not browns. Browns are way too loud.
Need Dem cherry keys
Are you fucking kidding? Why don't you bring your moms dual monitor set up too, just to be sure you can align logos properly and spread financials
I thought everyone uses a Bloomberg keyboard... just use and adapt to whatever keyboard the firm is using. Unless you are switching from mac os to windows i don't see why you can't abide by the firm's rules
Hope I'm not the one to break it to you that you'll never have your own Bloomberg before you're an MD, and even then probably not.
oh nvm then, i thought everyone uses Bloomberg and the keyboard
Yeah don’t do that until you start FT
Topre Realforce
You should only get the Cherry MX Brown if you have a matching chair and desk. You could also email HR and ask for a cherry desk - I'm sure they're looking forward to you joining and would want the onboarding period to be as pleasant as possible.
