It's weird, but I enjoy classical piano music mix when I am working (primarily when I am modeling/doing financial research). I am not sure about your work environment, but for me, piano music helps me tune out other coworkers and helps me dial in/ stay productive. On the other hand, I listen to punk music when I am tired and need a pick-me-up (usually at the end of the day.

Not a single genre but there was one song that I randomly started listening to a while back and now it's like my brain recognizes it so even hearing it gets me zoned in. La Villa Strangiato by Rush, I'll literally play it on repeat but reserve it only for when I need to really grind something out. As dumb as it sounds it really works for me

It all depends on my mood. If I haven't slept well or am angry, some relaxing music works best for me. If I'm energized by positivity, I like to listen to something upbeat and energizing. There are times when music distracts me from work, and I want to sit in silence. Lately, I've been alternating between this state and the state when I listen to relaxing tracks. I guess it's the autumn weather that has that effect on me. One good thing is that I can Download mp3 at high quality for free on the Internet without having to subscribe to Spotify. I hope many people will understand.
