Best News Sources
I'd like to hear from everyone what their go-to news source is to keep updated with what's going on around the world. From the free Morning Brew e-mails, to subscriptions to WSJ or FT, to fund manager posts.
Thanks

I will check Google News daily because it pulls important stories from multiple sources I will also check CNBC.com for market news and ESPN for sports news. I love politics, so I have a list of political blogs and websites that I will read, but I think I'll keep those to myself.
If you're not into sports, I would highly suggest checking ESPN daily. Nothing is more awkward when students network with you or you interview someone and you mention something sports-related to break the ice, and the student has no idea what you're talking about.

Newsmax the only good source
I’m more of an OANN guy myself. But Newsmax is good too.
News max might be the only real news source out right now.
FT and WSJ
Generally newsletters because I don’t have time to read full articles (even though tbh I barely have time for newsletters either): Bloomberg 5 things to start your day, Bloomberg Technology, Finmize, Crunchbase (if you’re in tech/VC).
Otherwise if you want to properly spend 10-30mn daily FT and The Economist are the best
I almost exclusively read the FT and then a few other blogs and newsletters. Not a fan of Morning Brew, I get what they are trying to do and respect for what they've built, but I don't understand why people need dumbed-down content to learn about what's going on in the world.
agreed, morning brew is very basic
Generally for the non-opinionated stuff I go Bloomberg or Reuters, not counting their op-ed pieces obviously
Listening to the FT News Briefing on my way to work, and some political podcast
Got some newsletters set up at work (Mergermarket the obvious one, also Moodys to have debt markets on the radar, McKinsey has some great ones too about general business issues). Also subscribed to some reports from our research department
In addition, subscribed to a weekly newspaper on everything from politics to culture (really keen to also focus on that actually, need something aside from business stuff to keep a sane mind), a couple of daily ones and the NYT (though I don’t read that religiously, am based in Europe and only try to keep up with the stuff happening in the US)
What Moody's newsletter do you read? I tried to google it and couldn't find one
Think you can google something like „Moodys Credit Outlook“ or something. I think if you want to subscribe to it, they’ll ask you to set up an account and then you’ll have the option to receive some further reports from them by mail going forward
I exclusively read CNN and the NYT. Everything else is biased.
